ADB is not a training technique that focuses on changing your dog's behaviors. While behavior modification may sound like the logical solution, it is not in your dog's best interest. The majority of so-called problem behaviors are due to emotional issues, and emotions cannot and should not be trained away. Training suppresses emotions, and that is not what your dog needs. If you truly want to help your dog - and yourself -, understanding your dog and offering emotional connection and emotional support are the best way to go. When your dog's needs are met, their behaviors will adjust automatically.
