WHICH COURSE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Affective Dog Behavior is not your typical dog training program. Our courses do not create or promote traditional training protocols, nor do they include step-by-step training techniques. Exercises are subtle yet meaningful to your dog, as they address your dog's immediate needs. ADB is different, and your readiness to look outside the box is greatly appreciated - especially by your dog! All courses come with lifetime access, satisfaction guaranteed (see refund policy in FAQ), and automatic enrollment in our ADB Community Center for support from your fellow learners and your ADB Coaches.

  • "You and your dog - ADB Essentials" focuses on building a foundation of knowledge about how and why emotions affect behavior. This course is NOT guided by protocol or training techniques, nor does it include step-by-step training instructions. "You and your dog - ADB Essentials" provides the basics in Affective Dog Behavior. The course can be taken independently or paired with our +1 mini courses to tackle more specific challenges.

  • “Living with Separation Anxiety” is a +1 mini-course that expands upon the insights and concepts discussed in the “You and Your Dog - ADB Essentials” course. Your dog will thank you for choosing a course that is not guided by protocols and rigid training steps.

  • "Living with a reactive dog" is a standalone course. Learn about what happens inside the dog's brain and how it affects their behaviors and start applying these principles with every exercise. Your dog will thank you for choosing a course that is not guided by protocols and rigid training steps.

FAQ

  • Do you use AI in your content creation?

    No. While AI can be useful for text editing (grammar, etc.) as well as image creation, we rely solely on our ability to read, understand, and analyze scientific research rather than use AI created science content.

  • I am outside the USA; can I join your course community?

    Currently, we are in compliance with e-commerce regulations through Thinkific in the USA, Canada, UK, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. If you want to enroll from a different country, please contact us for alternative ways to do so. [email protected]

  • I'm a canine professional; are there any courses that would further my career?

    While all courses are filled with career-enhancing insights, courses displayed with black course cards are written with canine professionals in mind.

  • How much time per day do I have to devote to training

    You do not have to set aside time for training. Unlike traditional training programs, Affective Dog Behavior encourages you how to integrate your new knowledge into your daily life with your dog. The time it takes is the time you already spend with your dog. We just want you to spend it with a different awareness.

  • Is there a time limit I have access to the course?

    No time limits. You will enjoy lifetime access to any of our online courses.

  • What if I get stuck or need help with the course or my dog?

    With your course enrollment, you will be automatically enrolled in our new Community Center. The Community Center is an ADB-focused type of social media platform right here at your fingertips. We hope that you will take advantage of it and either seek support or offer support to others.

  • Are there any ADB coaches or instructors I can reach out to?

    Absolutely. Our ADB Team will visit the Community Center frequently to (1) answer any questions you may have and (2) engage with you as part of the community.

  • If I don't like the course, can I get a refund?

    Yes, we do have a great refund policy for our dog owner-oriented courses (green course cards): (1) If you regret your decision to enroll within the first 7 days and you haven't signed into the course yet, you can request a full "buyers' remorse" refund. (2) But even if you have signed into the course and started going through the lessons, you can still request a full refund; but we ask you to give the course a chance and complete at least 50% (but no more than 65%) of the lessons.
